A crew from company 47 set up at both Bridgewater & Powell Rd as well as Concord & Bethel for our Tag Day.

Company 47 was the Duty Engine for the first district from 1800-2200. While in service, the crew continued practicing with the hydraulic spreaders on handling and precision. The goal was to move a egg without making it leak from one cone to the next.
Duty Engine 47 was dispatched to Lower Chi for a cardiac arrest, two crew members assisted with CPR during transport to hospital with the medics.
Company 47 was the Duty Engine for the 1st District from 1800-2200. While in service tonight members went over the front bumper line on how to pull and also pack.
The crew also practiced operating the hydraulic tools while playing a little game of Jenga to brush up on their controlling of the spreader tool. After our team building exercise was complete, time was spent doing some major cleaning of the station.
Around 2140 Company 47 was dispatched to Brookhaven, Pa for a commercial building fire. While in route, the pipeline was told to reduce speed and eventually recalled to holding units on scene.
Pipeline, Command, and ATV 47 made a presents out at Bethel Townships Fire Company touch a truck event. Pipeline 47 remained in service for responses out of Chester Township along with cover calls for Bethel Township Fire Company.
Pipeline and Utility responded to a brush fire on 95 North. Responding units pulled up on 15th street next to I95 and suppressed the fire with a 1 3/4 hand line. Squrt 81 also made the response.
Pipeline 47, Engine 17, and Duty Engine 68 were dispatched to a vehicle fire. Engine 17 was first engine on scene and made a quick attack on the fire. Fire was placed under control and Pipeline 47 remained on location for hazard and traffic control until scene was cleared.
Pipeline 47, Rescue 47, and Command 47 attended Upland Fire Company’s annual Memorial Day parade. Prior to the start of the parade Pipeline 47 and Rescue 47 was called to assist Upland Fire Company on a nearby mulch fire. Pipeline 47 established a supply line while the crew was sent in for man power.
Chester Township Fire Company, Aston Township Fire Department, City of Chester Bureau of Fire, and Crozer EMS were dispatched to I 95 Northbound for an accident with injury and fire. Upon our arrival, there was no entrapment or fire. Rescue 47 remained on scene until all hazards were removed from the highway.
Chester Township Fire Company, Aston Township Fire Department, City of Chester Bureau of Fire Crozer EMS, 1st & 11th District Fire Police Association, and Ambulance 52 were dispatched to the area of Concord Road and Incinerator Road, Chester Township for an accident with entrapment. Chester Car 3 arrived on location reporting negative entrapment. 4 patients were transported to local hospitals by EMS. Company 47 and Fire Police remained on location until all hazards were cleared from the roadway, and Concord Road was reopened.
